SATURDAY

I liked Saturday. in the morning at least. i woke up, knowing i would be home alone since my mom and brother were at his track meet in ojai. i went to the living room, checked to see if conference was still on, but it was just ending. so i decided i wanted to make pancakes. i got my ipod and plugged it in, scrolling straight for my beachhh playlist. i made the pancake batter with ease while dancing to the happy Hawaiian music. i couldn't help but to just move my hips! it was sunny and warm outside. it was beautiful. i made the pancakes, the scent of cinnamon and chocolate filling the air. (i add cinnamon and extra chocolate to my pancakes =]) then finally, i sat down at the table that overlooks our green backyard. i ate almost all of the pancakes i made with a glass of milk to wash it all down, and while reading breaking dawn. with my beach mix playing quietly in the back round. Mmmmm it was a delicious morning. i even thought about going for a run, but then conference started again and i had to take notes for seminary makeups.
*these are my amazing pancakes :) but this is the worst of the 2 pictures i took of them. that one in the front was super tiny and the one on the left was a square haha oops. but i couldn't find the better picture =/
